A Beautiful Path to Success: Part 1

My signature "keynotes" in life have always been beauty, fun, laughs, luxury, and happiness.  I worked really hard for years, in jobs that were really stressful and, toward the end, I was running on empty in the fun and happiness departments.  When it comes to success, it's a Mind - Body - Soul integration that ultimately creates beautiful, graceful, easy success for us.  For today, let's talk about the beautiful Mind piece...I think it's the one most people can comfortably relate to.

The mind is such a strong component of our reality.  Mind can overcome matter; the mind can also block what is possible.  Buddha is quoted as saying "All that we are is a result of what we have thought.  The mind is everything.  What we think we become."   And most of us have heard these axioms before.  We know that we can create chaos in our life by dwelling on what's going wrong.  And we know we can create miracles if we focus on our dreams.  And, still...we get caught in the mental trap of obsessing over what's wrong.  And getting stuck in "Analysis Paralysis".

Why do we over-analyze?  Pay attention here...this may be totally new information for you as it was for me when I first heard it.  We over-analyze a situation because we know the answer but are unwilling to accept it.  Aha!  It is that simple.  If you are caught in circular thought, unable to make a decision, unable to choose an option, unable to let go of something, unable to take a risk...it's because you already have the answer but are unwilling and/or unable to hear it at this time.

And why don't we listen to our own inner guidance?  Why do we refuse to believe we know exactly what to do??  Out of fear.  Fear of rejection, fear of exposure, fear of losing someone or something, fear of being wrong, fear of not being good enough.  Fear.  So how do we get our heads out of the analysis trap and into building the beautifully successful life that is our Divine Birthright?

First of all, be gentle with yourself.  You are absolutely perfect just the way you are.  You don't have to change a thing.  You don't even have to get out of that relationship or job that is going nowhere.  So stop judging yourself.  As a good friend of mine says, "You can't judge anything...not even your own life...you do not have all the information".  So relax...breathe...you are exactly where you're supposed to be.  And then make a choice, when you're ready, to focus on what you desire.

Make post-it note reminders of your desires, create vision boards, listen to meditations (there are hundreds of free audios online).  Do whatever you can think of to BE in the vibration of what you desire.  If you want a new car, go test drive the one you want...sit in it, FEEL it, and then call back that feeling as often as possible.  If a thought comes up of not being able to afford the new car or never getting the new car, then STOP the thought.  It's that simple.  Just mentally stop the thought.  Come up with a little self-command that resonates with you; I like to say "cancel, cancel".  Then focus again on what you desire.

If you desire something that you can't actually BE in right now, like a beloved relationship, then just close your eyes and visualize what that dream life looks like...FEEEEEEL how it feels to be completely loved and adored.  If your desire is to work from home in a financially prosperous business while getting to spend more quality time with your family than ever before, close your eyes and visualize how that would look...FEEEEEL how it would be to have your freedom and financial prosperity...to be happy...to be a carrier of the Light to others and a true leader of success and happiness.  BE IN THE VIBRATION of that desire.

And if your mind pops back up and interrupts your dream, tell it to go away...you are in charge of your mind.  Remember that.  You are in charge of your mind...it is not in charge of you.  Master the Mind.  We'll talk about the Body next time.  See you then.
